Albuquerque Freedom 4th Celebration
The most popular thing to do in Albuquerque for the 4th of July is the Freedom 4th celebration, which is an all-ages event that takes place at Balloon Fiesta Park. The 2022 Freedom 4th celebration in Albuquerque features a great lineup of performers: Shenandoah will be headlining at 7:45 pm, but music performances start at 4 pm with Nathaniel Krantz. The 4th of July Ceremony itself starts at 7:30 pm, just before Shenandoah takes the stage for the main show.
Their performance will be followed by the biggest firework show in the state, so make sure to stay until 9:15 for the main spectacle! Local food vendors will be on-site for the duration of the event and visitors can grab a drink at The Cantina, which overlooks the main stage. There will also be free activities for kids including rock walls, face painting, a bounce house, and more
